Job Summary
High School Health Teacher (Part-Time) at Covenant Christian Academy. The role requires integrating Biblical principles and a Christian philosophy of education, and serving as a minister of the Gospel while modeling a daily walk with Christ. Responsibilities include teaching health curricula, planning and differentiating instruction, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with parents within the University-Model schedule. The teacher will be on-campus according to the schedule (Mon/Wed/Fri for secondary classes) and will also be reasonably available for satellite (non-campus) support during the week. The position emphasizes spiritual leadership, Christian values, effective communication with families, and using educational technology (Google Suite) to support student learning. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (required for core teaching), 2+ years of classroom teaching experience preferred, curriculum planning experience, and alignment with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (required for core teacher)
- Two or more years of classroom teaching experience preferred
- Experience planning, implementing and differentiating curriculum preferred
- Be a born-again Christian and align with Covenant Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith (Doctrinal Position)
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications and educational technologies
