Job Summary
High School Football Assistant Coach responsible for organizing and overseeing program levels, coordinating with the head coach and Athletic Director to secure facilities and plan practices, implementing the program’s fundamentals and conditioning, scheduling in-season practices and competitions, ensuring student eligibility and compliance with district requirements, maintaining records and communicating with parents, supervising student-athletes during practices and transportation, and supporting the head coach in recognizing season achievements. Must be willing to obtain CHSAA and school certifications, complete fingerprint/background screening, and pursue district activity bus certification; coaching experience preferred; duties include driving students using district vehicles and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Coach/AD.
Required Qualifications
- Willing to obtain CHSAA certification and applicable school certifications
- Must complete a fingerprint/background screening
- Coaching experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain district activity bus certification
