Job Summary
Coach the FIRST Robotics team for the season, assist in building, configuring, and testing robots, supervise team meetings, plan travel for competitions, coordinate community outreach demonstrations, and coordinate fundraising. Responsible for ordering materials, coordinating professional volunteer mentors, maintaining safety, communicating with students, parents, mentors, and sponsors, and assigning students to sub-teams to develop skills and achieve goals. Robotics experience is NOT required, but the coach should be interested in building robotics knowledge over time. Travel and non-traditional hours are required.
