High School Equivalency Teacher

Provide adult students with educational instruction to foster intellectual, physical, social, and career development while assisting fellow teachers and professional development facilitators. Collect data from formative and summative assessments to increase continued student learning and support strategies that enhance performance on local, state, and federal assessments including TABE, HiSET, GED, and ACT Workkeys. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning, employ varied instructional techniques with technology, and maintain order by developing reasonable rules of behavior. Work off-site with minimal supervision, communicate fluently in Spanish and English, and maintain confidentiality per district policy. This 180-day contract runs July 1-June 30th with a budgeted 6 hours weekly, reporting to the Director of Warsaw Adult Education.
