Job Summary
High School English Teacher for an online K–12 program; teach from a home office in Oregon, manage instruction asynchronously and synchronously, grade and generate progress reports, conduct parent conferences, develop Personal Learning Plans, coordinate with teachers and counselors, review and adapt curriculum, support students and families with instructional strategies, participate in student recruiting and state testing activities, and occasionally travel for marketing and testing events.
Required Qualifications
- Certified to teach High School English in Oregon
- Oregon endorsements strongly preferred
- Oregon ESL/ELL endorsement strongly preferred
- Willing to consider out of state applicants; Oregon residents preferred
