Job Summary
Deliver online high school English instruction to Missouri Virtual Academy (MOVA) students with a state-certified teaching credential. Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, monitor progress through Stride K12’s LMS, differentiate instruction to meet student needs, maintain a grade book, and communicate regularly with families/learning coaches. Travel annually for face-to-face school functions and state testing as required, while primarily working from a home office in a virtual environment. Maintain compliance with academy policies, support learning coaches/parents with instructional issues, and collaborate with principal and coaches to drive student outcomes. Requires a Bachelor's degree, active teaching license, and ability to obtain MO licensure within 60 days; residency in Missouri preferred, with consideration for surrounding states. This is a full-time, virtual teaching role with occasional in-person travel.
