Job Summary
Plan and provide instruction for high school English learners; create an engaging classroom environment; plan and evaluate student outcomes; maintain accurate records and collaborate with parents, staff, and community; supervise teacher aides/volunteers; utilize diverse instructional methods and technology to meet curriculum goals; ensure safety and professional conduct in alignment with RCPS policies and Title VI/VII/XI and ADA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field of education or the equivalent in credentialing, training and/or experience
- Possess or qualify for a professional license and appropriate endorsement as presented by the Virginia Department of Education
- Be recommended by the Division Superintendent and approved by the School Board
