Job Summary
Provide academic support for students based on expertise in the state curriculum, including supplemental assignments to enhance understanding. Responsibilities include offering remedial and enrichment support, communicating with parents about progress, and delivering customized approaches to meet individual student needs. Candidates should have teaching experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to address various learning styles.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree
- Valid Massachusetts State teaching certificate or equivalent
- Current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
- Two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher
- Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
- Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
