High School English Teacher 2026-2027

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, tailor instruction to diverse learners including those with IEPs, assess student learning styles and progress, collaborate with special education staff, and participate in staff development and school activities. Maintain professional communication with parents and colleagues, manage classroom behavior, and support district safety and policies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements; previous student teaching or internship experience preferred.
