Job Summary
High School English Interventionist for the 2026-27 school year at North Carolina Cyber Academy (NCCA-HS), Durham, NC (Primarily Remote) with hybrid on-site/remote duties. Responsibilities include providing engaging English 1/2 intervention support to 9th-10th graders, delivering lessons aligned with NC standards, maintaining student records and assessments, participating in PLCs, collaborating with parents and staff, and supporting high school program activities. Role requires teaching English 1/2 (MTSS), delivering synchronous instruction Monday-Thursday and asynchronous Fridays; 40-hour workweek; NC residency required. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, NC English 9-12 teaching license, 3+ years of teaching experience, and proven results in English 2 outcomes (NCTest/EVAAS). Experience with virtual/remote teaching and Canvas is preferred.
