Job Summary

High School ELA teachers will deliver a literature-centered curriculum across multiple high schools, prioritizing inclusive texts, student-led discourse, and preparation for AP, SAT, and college coursework. Responsibilities include guiding students in reading, writing, discussion, analyzing texts (including works by Baldwin, Morrison, Fitzgerald, Shakespeare, and Gyasi), differentiating instruction, analyzing student work trends with leadership to drive instructional improvements, and collaborating with department and grade-level teams.
