Job Summary
High school Career and Technical Education role focusing on Audio Video Tech. Develop and implement district-aligned lesson plans, employ varied instructional strategies, assess student learning, and use results to plan activities. Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, plan and assign work to instructional aides/volunteers, and oversee extracurricular activities. Maintain professional relationships with parents and the community; participate in staff development and adhere to all district/state regulations. Ensure safety and appropriate classroom management; work with tools and equipment including AED; monitor student growth and compliance with codes and handbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
