Job Summary
High School Computer Science Teacher responsible for developing and delivering CS instruction aligned with district and TEA guidelines. Plan and implement lesson plans, assess student learning, collaborate with special education to modify curricula for IEPs, and align activities with district requirements. Manage classroom behavior, sponsor extracurricular activities, communicate with parents and community, participate in staff development, and ensure compliance with district safety and policies. Utilize instructional strategies and technology to accommodate diverse learning styles, and contribute to curriculum development and records management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
