Job Summary
High School Complex Custodian on a 2nd shift responsible for coordinating custodial services at the site, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment, performing cleaning operations, and assisting in training staff. Duties include supervising shift coverage, responding to emergencies, locking/unlocking as needed, maintaining facilities for events, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, floor care (stripping, buffing, sealing), inventory and use of cleaning chemicals, setup/teardown for meetings and meals, and collaboration with building staff. Requires experience with custodial methods, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and strong interpersonal skills; shift is 2:00 pm–10:00 pm and benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Thorough working knowledge of custodial work, including cleaning methods and materials and the use of custodial equipment
- 1 year of experience or equivalent education/experience
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm shift
- Experience in sanitation, custodial, or maintenance positions preferred
