Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous engaging lessons across STEM content areas with project-based instruction; engage all students in learning; guide students to develop soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration; utilize technology to facilitate instruction; employ diverse assessment tools to measure progress toward college and career goals; advise students through the Advisory Program; foster family involvement and community partnerships to address barriers to learning; support professional growth through participation in learning activities; contribute to a high-performing team; perform other duties as assigned to meet school needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Master’s degree or higher preferred
- NC Professional Educator’s License preferred, but not required; Must be eligible to obtain license within 3 years
