Job Summary

High School Science teachers will instruct a curriculum spanning biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental sciences, with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning, student discourse, and lab/project-based tasks. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Certification is not required to be hired at Uncommon, but must meet NY state certification eligibility requirements

  • Teachers are required to become certified in the state of New York within a reasonable period after beginning employment
