Job Summary
General supervision of students and facilities throughout the school day and some extracurricular activities during the school year. Ensure safety for the facility, monitor student behavior, manage parking permits, assist with video surveillance and the school cell phone policy (including Yondr pouch implementation), support attendance and discipline, and assist with preparation for school events. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal/communication skills, ability to work independently, confidentiality, and proficiency with Google/Microsoft Office and data systems are essential. This is a full-time, non-exempt role operating 173 days per year with hourly pay between $26.32 and $29.83. Scheduling to be discussed with the principal and includes duties such as visitor management, open campus monitoring, and collaboration with administrators and security personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students and/or policy enforcement
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Ability to work early mornings during school day
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, staff, co-workers, administrators, parents and community members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Computer proficiency with Google products, Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use student data program
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and office machines
