Job Summary
Beebe High School seeks a candidate to coach boys basketball and teach secondary History for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Boys Basketball Coach with all aspects of the basketball program, developing and implementing practice plans and game preparation, supervising athletes during practices, games and team travel, promoting student-athlete growth, sportsmanship, and academic achievement, assisting with offseason workouts, skill development, and program activities, and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members. Teaching responsibilities include teaching secondary History courses in accordance with Arkansas Academic Standards, developing engaging lesson plans and instructional activities, monitoring and assessing student progress, maintaining accurate attendance/grades/performance records, collaborating with colleagues to support student achievement and school improvement initiatives, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Teaching License or ability to obtain licensure
- Appropriate certification in Social Studies/History or related content area
