Job Summary
High School Boys Assistant Wrestling Coach responsible for instructing athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training to promote individual and team success, while fostering character development, self-discipline, and sportsmanship. Duties include budgeting and equipment management, organizing preseason meetings, recruiting athletes, coordinating with media and booster clubs, maintaining facilities and inventory, enforcing safety and eligibility rules, and mentoring students. Emphasis on communication with parents, staff, and the athletic department, plus promoting the sport within the school and community.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Previous coaching experience preferred
