Job Summary
Lead track and field, cross country, tennis, or volleyball coaching for Camden Prep, fostering a lifelong love of movement and resilience through high-energy, inclusive programming. Uphold and enforce all eligibility standards for student-athletes while completing required safety certifications including concussion, heat illness, CPR, and first aid. Maintain a criminal background check and fingerprinting as per state law, complying with NJSIAA requirements within the mandated timeframe. Build a positive, cohesive team culture that supports every student's physical, mental, and social growth in an urban school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of coaching experience, preferably at the high school or youth level
- Strong foundational knowledge of volleyball techniques, training methods, and game strategy
- Demonstrated commitment to working with high school students, particularly in urban school settings
- Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, NFHS, NJSIAA)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma
