Job Summary
Conduct daily track and field and cross country training sessions, manage team culture, and uphold eligibility standards for student-athletes. Enforce all NJSIAA coaching requirements, including mandatory safety certifications for concussion, heat illness, CPR, and first aid. Complete criminal background checks and fingerprinting as per state law, while maintaining a positive, cohesive team environment across multiple sports and fitness activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of coaching experience, preferably at the high school or youth level
- Strong foundational knowledge of volleyball techniques, training methods, and game strategy
- Demonstrated commitment to working with high school students, particularly in urban school settings
- Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, NFHS, NJSIAA)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma
