HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC TRAINER 2026-2027

Job Summary
Provide care and prevention of athletic injuries for junior high and high school student athletes; maintain injury reports, birth certificates, parent approvals/releases, medical forms, medical records, and participate in mail reports to doctors, insurance, and parents; supervise assigned staff and the athletic training room equipment; collaborate with district trainers and coaches on medical supplies, budget, and patient care; supervise physical examinations and work with physicians; implement and monitor the human growth and development program; utilize teaching strategies aligned with current instructional methods; coordinate program components with the Director of Health Services, PE/Health Coordinator, and the Exec. Director of Athletics; engage with the Student Health Advisory Council for curriculum development and parent-facing meetings; promote family involvement in the educational process; ensure CPR training is provided for all student athletes; maintain documentation and staff development; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Texas Athletic Trainer License
- Bachelor’s degree
