Job Summary
Assist the school principal in administration of instructional program and campus level operations. Coordinate assigned student activities and services. Participate in development and evaluation of educational programs, promote technology in teaching/learning, and help develop campus improvement plans. Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, interview and orient new employees, and coordinate transportation, safety programs, and support services. Ensure a positive learning climate, effective communication with students and staff, and compliance with applicable laws and board policies. Lead budget requests, attendance tracking, and collaboration with department heads to meet program needs; support professional development and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Texasassistant principal or other appropriateTexascertificate
- Certified Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS) appraiser
- Two years experience as a classroom teacher
