Job Summary
Assist the head coach and assume the head coach's duties in his absence; coach participants in the skills necessary for football; maintain competency in MHSA rules, regulations, and coaching techniques; enforce discipline and sportsmanship; establish performance criteria for eligibility; manage equipment and supplies inventory; teach teamwork within team activities; supervise participants; follow district policies and MHSA requirements; apply effective written and oral communication with students, parents, staff, and the community; handle time management and adapt to district requirements while meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a currently valid American Red Cross First Aid card (for those coaching athletics).
- Meets MHSA requirements (if applicable).
