Job Summary
Teach AP US Government, Honors US History, Journalism, and Current Events to high school students. Develop a standards-aligned curriculum and continuously improve instructional practices based on feedback and data. Create a palpably positive classroom climate with engaging, rigorous content; employ backward planning and formal/informal assessments to ensure mastery; collaborate with teammates, families, and staff; participate in professional development; and support THA’s mission to ensure scholars go to and graduate from college. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and state certification is preferred; compensation starts at $44,000 and can rise to $47,000 based on experience; full-time exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package.
