Job Summary
Coordinate referral documentation and facilitate case updates for domestic and family violence involving high or imminent risk in the Capricorn Region. Assist with triage and processing of referrals to ensure completeness of risk assessment information, while supporting meeting preparation by compiling agendas, preparing case summaries, and documenting minutes. Maintain accurate records and case updates within the Infoxchange system, including safety actions and closure notes, and liaise with member agencies to clarify case information and confirm follow-up actions. Uphold principles of cultural safety and trauma-informed practice in all stakeholder interactions. This role supports the effective operation of the High Risk Team for the Capricorn Region, contributing to timely triage and accurate case tracking within a collaborative, multi-agency environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor-level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services (or working towards)
- Experience in DFV, child protection, or community services
- Current C class Driver's Licence (QLD)
- Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia at the time of application
