High Risk Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for high-risk cardiac patients, including those pre- and post-cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and thoracotomies. Educate patients and families on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment home care needs. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Work in a constant state of alertness within a Magnet-recognized environment.
