Job Summary
Collect and post rent, fees, and payments; prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports. Review resident files to communicate on outstanding balances, enforce leases, and process move-outs while managing vendor invoices. Respond to resident complaints and requests, organize daily work during the Community Manager's absence, and coordinate maintenance tasks. Meet with owners to discuss performance and conduct community tours. Adhere to eviction procedures, including court hearings, and be accessible for on-site operations during emergencies. Work approximately 95% indoors, with occasional physical inspections and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent from accredited institution
- Must currently hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for the state of Georgia within 120 days
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors 5% of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
- On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
- Though occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters
- Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years prior experience in property management or in a related industry preferred
- Experience with property management software preferred; Entrata experience a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
