Job Summary
Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all safety standards. Put away palletized units into racks above floor height and pick them out for outbound shipment. Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system. Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Complete daily forklift maintenance checks, monitor battery charge, and clean batteries before returning equipment to the charging station. Work a Friday-Saturday-Sunday 6pm-6am shift with weekend incentives. Base pay is $21 plus a $2 weekend incentive.
Required Qualifications
- High Reach Forklift Experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels
