Job Summary
Provide personal care assistance including hygiene, dressing, and incontinence care while supporting mobility. Deliver companionship, prepare meals, manage light housekeeping, and handle errands or transportation. Remind clients of medications and complete care documentation. Travel to clients' homes in State College, PA and surrounding areas to serve seniors, adults with disabilities, and families needing respite. Maintain a reliable demeanor and hold a valid driver's license. Accept available client assignments from the waitlist to qualify for the $15–$17 per hour pay rate.
Required Qualifications
- Two-step TB test, TSPOT, or chest X-ray (must be completed within one week of hire)
- Completion of state competency test provided by the agency, or a valid CNA license
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Willingness to accept client assignments from our waitlist to qualify for special rate
