Job Summary
Manage the portfolio's master schedule, deconstruct requirements into actionable elements, and draft statements of work for funded activities. Contribute to systems engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents while managing system requirements to ensure compatibility with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework. Assist in allocating resources to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components, and perform analysis of technical alternatives to make preliminary recommendations. Propose engineering standards and processes, supervise contractor engineers, and develop innovative approaches to technical issues. Support the customer's large High-Performance Computing program, which is tactically important to national security.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience
- Master's degree or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) test, to include General Purpose, Commercial, Custom Commercial, and Special Purpose Device HPCs
- Experience with Major Systems Acquisition, including development of Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs), DT (Directorate of Test) and experience collaborated with independent test and test oversight
