Job Summary
Design and implement age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs aligned with long-term athlete development models for Academy student-athletes. Lead individual, semi-private, team, and group training sessions while conducting warm-ups, movement skill development, and performance testing. Track athlete progress using metrics to provide feedback and support physical development through collaboration with coaches. Maintain consistent communication with sport directors, athletes, and families while assisting with scheduling, session logistics, and event support. Ensure training spaces are safe, clean, and organized, adhering to all safety standards. This role offers internship, part-time, or seasonal opportunities reporting to the Director of High Performance, with compensation commensurate with experience and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Strength & Conditioning certification (NSCA CSCS or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Experience working with youth, high school, collegiate, or adult athletes
- Strong understanding of strength training fundamentals, movement mechanics, and injury prevention
- Ability to coach and engage athletes across a wide range of ages and skill levels
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset and willingness to learn and grow
