High-End Furniture Upholsterer

Upholsterer role focusing on fabricating and finishing upholstered furniture to quality specs. Responsibilities include fitting, padding with fiber/foam, covering frames with cloth, vinyl, or leather using a pneumatic staple gun, securing materials with trims, pleating skirts, and preparing frames for the next station. Duties require cutting, sewing, and fitting materials, rebuilding/replacing damaged components, measuring and estimating time/materials, and delivering accurate workmanship. Must demonstrate excellent time management, attention to detail, quick learning, organizational skills, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least eight years of upholstery experience. Travel none; reports to Supervisor, Upholstery, based in Thomasville, NC. Typical schedule is FULL_TIME with on-site work.
