Job Summary
Interpret production tickets to sand wood furniture and frames using specialized jigs, hand tools, and power equipment. Identify and repair minor wood defects with fillers and tools to ensure seamless surfaces. Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures while working in a high-volume, noisy, and dusty environment. Stand, walk, stoop, and bend for eight or more hours daily, frequently lifting up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Prioritize quality craftsmanship and meet daily output goals within a team-focused production setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work thoughtfully and thoroughly with continuous attention to detail
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 or more hours daily
- Ability to learn quickly and retain a wide range of small details concerning multiple product types, tasks, system processes, issues, and/or projects
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable multi-tasking, or pivoting between tasks as the need arises
- Willingness to learn new products, procedures, and processes as business needs change
- A friendly attitude with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, be a team player, and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
- Frequently lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work comfortably in noisy and dusty environments
Desired Qualifications
