Job Summary
Special Education Teacher at Globe Unified School District responsible for guiding the learning process to meet district curriculum goals and state standards. Must follow all special education laws regarding identification and placement of students and ensure that objectives in IEPs are carried out. Reports to the Principal. Requires a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate. 10 hours daily; salary per Teacher Salary Schedule. Minimum qualifications include knowledge of current special education law and board-acceptable alternatives. Internal and external applicants should submit applicable documents including transcripts and letters of recommendation. Emphasizes non-discrimination in program participation and services.
