Job Summary
Oversee maintenance coordination for a food-manufacturing plant, leading and directing a staff of 15 maintenance technicians. Drive and maintain a preventive maintenance program, diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC issues, and direct repairs to minimize downtime. Enforce SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices, promote a Safety First culture, and ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures. Requires experience in a food manufacturing environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with basic PLC knowledge and SAP familiarity. Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or college program certificate; or 5+ years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
- Ability to lead, direct, evaluate and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
- Knowledge of basic PLC experience and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP a plus.
