Job Summary
Plant Accountant at Hickory/Hawthorn Plant (Owensboro, KY) responsible for period-end close, accurate data and financial reporting, standard costing, budgeting, internal controls, and cost-reduction initiatives. Leads inventory and material cycle counts, performs variance and spending analysis, and oversees finance administrative functions. Supports governance, risk, and compliance with SOPs, ISO 9000 standards, and RC-14001. Requires strong communication, proactive ownership, teamwork, and a drive for continuous improvement. Preferred SAP experience; professional accounting certification (CMA/CPA) a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree – Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Microsoft Office expertise
