HHSM - Patient Access Representative

Register patients, obtain consents and authorizations, and collect co-payments and financial paperwork. Answer incoming communications, resolve non-clinical inquiries, and coordinate general requests with a customer-service oriented approach. Perform documentation audits for medical necessity and plan of care, schedule procedure appointments, and manage patient reminders and recall letters. Maintain medical records, respond to office correspondence, and order front desk supply inventory. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTLA, and Joint Commission requirements while following CMS standards for Medicare eligibility and ABN notices.
