Job Summary
Provide 1:1 in-home dialysis support for a patient transitioning from clinic to home, including setting up NxStage or Tablo dialysis machines, keeping the treatment environment clean and safe, offering companionship, helping the patient stay on schedule with treatment times, and providing light ADL support. Monitor safety, report concerns to the coordinating nurse, and maintain simple documentation/shift notes while collaborating with a clinical team. Training will be provided to ensure confidence with patient-specific dialysis processes and home setup, enabling independent work within a dedicated care network.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of dialysis experience (home or clinic)
- Familiarity with home dialysis systems preferred (NxStage, Tablo)
- Open to in-home dialysis support and willing to complete the provided training
- Must pass a background check
- Strong communicator who works well with a clinical team
