Job Summary
Assist elderly and disabled adults with daily needs including preparing meals, daily showers, taking walks, laundry, and light housework based on individual care plans. Provide personal care and companionship as assigned, ensuring all interventions align with client-specific task items. Maintain punctuality and communicate effectively in English while holding a current Medical Physical, MMR and Chicken Pox titers, and PPD test results. Obtain a NYS Aide certificate or demonstrate two years of experience in other positions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, write & communicate in English
- Punctual and be on time as scheduled
- Medical Physical (done within the last 12 months)
- Titer results (MMR & Chicken Pox)
- PPD test
- NYS Aide certificate or 2 years experience for other positions
