Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including transferring, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry while accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments. Provide dementia care, range of motion exercises, and companionship activities like reading or puzzles. Maintain a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance to travel between clients, with paid travel time included.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
