Job Summary
BrightStar Care is hiring a part-time Home Health Aide (HHA) / Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care for a bedbound client in Lancaster, OH. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene), bed baths, repositioning and mobility support, light meals and light housekeeping, maintaining a clean and safe home, observing and reporting changes in client condition, and following care plans with required documentation. Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred; must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; must pass background check and drug screening. Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM; starting pay $18/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving, home care, or home health experience
- Experience caring for bedbound clients preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home
