Job Summary
Provide daily personal care including assistance with eating, hygiene, dressing, and shaving while maintaining a clean home environment through light housekeeping and laundry. Support clients with medication reminders, prescribed range of motion exercises, and dementia care, offering companionship through reading, music, and puzzles. Prepare meals and assist with activities tailored to individual needs. This role serves seniors and adults with disabilities in the Kiaawah area, requiring a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and current CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- You must have a high school diploma or GED
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check and Drug screen
- Must have completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR Certificate is recommended
- 6 months of experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course is encouraged
