Job Summary
Assist seniors and adults with disabilities with daily living activities including eating, personal hygiene, dressing, and light housekeeping. Prepare meals and support clients with medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and dementia care while providing companionship through reading, music, and puzzles. Maintain a clean and safe environment and communicate effectively with clients and staff. You must be 18, hold a valid driver's license, and possess a high school diploma or GED. A current CPR certificate is recommended, and experience as a Home Health Aide is encouraged. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- You must have a high school diploma or GED
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check and Drug screen
- Must have completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR Certificate is recommended
- 6 months of experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course is encouraged
