HHA/CNA – Hospice & Palliative Care Experience

Job Summary
Provide specialized personal care for hospice patients, including ADLs, skin integrity, pain and symptom observation, and post-mortem care, while maintaining a calm, family-centered presence. Follow the personalized Plan of Care, document vitals and changes, and ensure a quiet, organized bedside environment. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing and dressing, oral hygiene, delivering compassionate emotional support to families, and maintaining accurate care documentation. Must have an Indiana HHA/CNA license, CPR/BLS, TB testing, at least 1 year of hospice/palliative experience, and be a licensed driver with reliable transportation. Flexible, part-time shifts with home health or facility assignments and weekly pay are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted HHA/CNA license in the state of Indiana
- Certified CPR/BLS and negative 2-step TB skin test, quantiferon or chest x-ray
- Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience; direct experience in hospice or palliative care is highly preferred
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Must be able to safely lift and transfer up to 50 pounds
