Job Summary
Right at Home Caregiver role focusing on in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, range-of-motion exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities. Training is provided to develop needed skills; the role emphasizes flexible scheduling, a positive work environment, and opportunities for advancement while supporting a vulnerable population.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- active HHA account with CDSS
- ability to pass a full employment background check
- competency evaluation that meets State licensing law for home health agencies
- state-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course completion
- 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities)
- CPR certificate recommended
