Job Summary
Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in Des Moines, IA. Duties include companionship and emotional support, assistance with personal care and activities of daily living, medication reminders, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, grocery shopping and errands, transportation to appointments and community activities, and engaging clients through conversations and activities. The role requires compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently following a personalized care plan. Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities across day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, plus training and professional development, are available. Applicants should be 18+, hold a HS diploma or GED, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, be able to pass a background check, and complete a competency evaluation. Preferred qualifications include CNA/HHA/PCA certification and caregiving experience in home care or related healthcare settings.

Desired Qualifications
