Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, prepare meals, and offer companionship and emotional support. Administer medication reminders, perform light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments. Observe and report changes in client condition while following individualized care plans and HIPAA regulations. Work flexible 12-hour or 4-11-hour shifts in Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina counties. Earn $16.00–$21.00 per hour with weekly pay and access to medical, dental, and vision insurance. Requires high school diploma, current CPR certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B
- Reliable transportation
- A charged cell phone
- Professional appearance with uniform and ID badge
- Dependable attendance and availability
- Willingness to work in West Side, Berea, Cleveland, Fairview Park, North Ridgeville, Olmsted Falls, Parma, Rocky River, Strongsville, East Side, Mayfield Heights, Pepper Pike, Shaker Heights, South, and Medina
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide program
