Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support. Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and perform light housekeeping and laundry. Offer companionship, emotional support, and accompany clients to appointments and community activities. Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team while following individualized care plans and agency protocols. Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Work 12-hour shifts or rotating morning, evening, and overnight schedules in Olmsted Falls and North Ridgeville. Requires high school diploma, current CPR certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following client care plans
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience
- HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training
