Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support while preparing meals and managing medication reminders. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization alongside offering companionship and emotional support. Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed, observing and reporting changes in condition to the care team. Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols under RN oversight. Requires high school diploma, one year caregiving experience preferred, current CPR certification, negative TB test, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Evening shifts at Pepper Pike, Friday mornings at Berea, Thursday afternoons at Rocky River, and weekday afternoons at Lakewood. Competitive pay of $16–$21 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently while following client care plans
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience
- HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training
